Book your 2-hour complimentary tile consultation with our team of qualified interior designers
What is involved in a complimentary tile design consultation?
This month we would like to invite you into one of our showrooms for a complimentary design consultation where you can sit back, sip on coffee, and let us take care of the process! During your consultation, you will work closely with our interior designer to determine what styles and colours will work within your space.
Our experts will discuss solutions that will work within your budgets and will provide technical assistance in relation to; performance, slip ratings, sealing, cleaning and maintenance. Depending on how far along you are with your project we can also discuss site delivery options as well as crane and manual unloading options.
Assisting with your tile selection to make your home both functional and aesthetic.
At Groove Tiles & Stone, we understand that every project is unique. What works for you, may not work for someone else. Things like your personal design preference and lifestyle could impact the range of tiles available to you.
For example, if you have young children, it will probably be important for you to find a safe, anti-slip tile that is easy to clean. When you visit one of our showrooms, our team of experts will be able to help you find a tile that suits your lifestyle without compromising the aesthetic look you are wanting to achieve.
Working within your budget and specification.
Being in the industry for over 30 years, we have helped people with varying budgets. Whether you’re working on a tight budget or want to spare no expense, we can provide you with a range of different options that suit your specifications but don’t break the bank.
Estimating quantities required for your project.
We all envision what we want a room to look like. However, if this is your first or second time building or renovating, the process can be a little overwhelming. Our team are here to help you through this exciting time and smooth out any bumps along the road.
One of the biggest mistakes that we see on a regular basis is customers ordering too many, or too few tiles to complete their project.
Even if you have prior experience building or renovating, you know more than most how annoying it can be if a few tiles break and you are suddenly left in the situation where you need to wait for another box of tiles to arrive or worse; the tile you have selected is no longer manufactured.
It can never hurt to get a second opinion on how many tiles to order from someone who works in the industry day in, day out.
Assisting with colour selections and space layout for your wet areas.
It is safe to assume that in any home, the areas that will require the largest amount of tiles are areas that require water. This includes kitchens, outdoor areas with swimming pools and bathrooms.
When selecting tiles for these areas, it’s unlikely that you are going to select one tile to cover the whole space. Rather, you will select two or three tiles to give the room depth and personality.
For instance, in a bathroom, you may select one tile to place on the floor, one on the wall and you may want a third feature tile to draw the eye to a certain feature like a free-standing bath.
With a strong knowledge of our stock, our interior designer will be able to help you select complimentarily tiles that will truly make your project pop.
Colour selections for all your internal and external areas to compliment with your internal and external tiles.
At Groove Tiles & Stone, we believe that every home begins with a single tile. This is because the main floor tile that you choose will more than likely cover key spaces in your home including hallways, living rooms, and kitchen.
This is what really sets the look and feel of your home.
Once you have selected a tile you love, our interior designer can educate you on what colours and tones will compliment the space and help you create a colour palette that you can build the rest of your project around; leaving you with a beautiful, seamless design.
Following your tile design consultation, our team can create 3D visual aspect drawings to provide an overall concept image and detailed instructions for the fixing contractor.
